The Union County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the fiscal year 2026-2027 operating and capital budget during its regular meeting on June 16, 2026. As part of the annual budget process, the Board also approved updates to Union County Water's development review fee schedule.
In preparation for this year’s budget deliberations, Union County Water worked with a consultant to perform a cost-of-service study of our development review fees, which had not been updated in more than a decade. The approved changes make the County’s fees more comparable to those used by other water and wastewater utilities in our region.
The new fees will go into effect on October 1, 2026. The current and future fees are included below for reference.
