Union County Water Donates Books to Union County Library

Post Date:02/27/2026 3:50 PM
Union County Water is continuing its partnership with Union County Library and Union County Public Schools (UCPS) libraries by donating copies of the children's book Lindsey: The GIS Professional. The STEM-themed book introduces students to geographic information systems (GIS) and highlights the important role that mapping technology plays in meeting the needs of our community.

Lindsey: The GIS Professional is the third book that Union County Water has donated to local libraries due to its ongoing commitment to community outreach. Through these donations, Union County Water aims to spark early interest in water and wastewater careers and help students better understand how utility services operate behind the scenes.

These books are now available at Union County Library locations and UCPS libraries. Union County Water remains committed to community partnerships and educational outreach that inspires the next generation of local government and STEM professionals. Residents are encouraged to visit their local library to check out the book and learn more about the technology that supports everyday life in Union County.
